Kindly commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Grabosky in 2013 as a fundraiser for the Cheshire point to point, we unearthed more of these lovely prints by talented local artist and hunting enthusiast, Mark Rowland. All prints are signed by the artist.
This painting is almost like a snapshot of the point to point course at end of march. The leaves have barely budded, the grass isn’t yet green and often the skies are over cast and gloomy, but the splash of color from the jockey’s silks and the red flag foreshadow the color soon to come. The added touch of what has become the iconic symbol of the plantation field, the ruins, makes this picture appealing to all horse sport enthusiasts.
The Print Measures: 22.5” Wide and 13” tall
The Price is $100 for a regular print
